Candice MacKenzie

Candice is a proud Island resident, calling PEI home for the last three decades. Having moved to PEI in 1992, she planted her roots and quickly created a life for herself which she shares with her family and friends who are like family.

Candice has spent most of her career as a Youth Worker, supporting and advocating for individuals and families. She believes strongly in equipping others with the skills they need to navigate their life in the best way possible. People are naturally drawn to Candice as she has an ability to build relationships of trust and confidence.

Candice has also always had an interest in real estate, knowing one day she would embark on a career in the field. Having personal experience in buying and selling, she understands the importance of having someone in your corner, guiding and advising along the way.

So, she decided to combine her desire to help others with her passion for real estate and jumped feet first into the profession! Candice continues to educate herself with the changing market and looks forward to putting that knowledge to work for you. We met Candice when she knocked on my parents' door in the summer of 2023. We had just finished having the hard conversations with my folks about going to a care home and selling the house and how we were going to do that. She literally knocked at their door right after the conversation. She was our god send.

My wife and I live in Alberta, so it was going to be a super hard transition for my folks and us to navigate through. But Candice was there every step of the way to make it happen. She stayed in contact between the summer of 2023 and 2024. Having only 30 days, we came home to empty the 2900 sq ft house. Candice helped in so many ways, putting us in touch with the right people to make donations and making sure stuff went to the right home. She had found a buyer that was looking for my parents' style of home before we even had it listed.

When the house was listed, we had an offer on the table before we returned to Alberta. She worked with my parents, meeting them at their care home to get the paperwork signed when it was convenient for them and was patient and caring when doing so.
