Fran moved to PEI at 7 with her family from Prince George, BC. Looking for a more temperate climate where apple trees grew, her father started beef farming in Hope River, on the north shore. Fran immediately fell in love with the ocean and spent many summer days with family and friends at Cavendish Beach and the Swimming Rock in Stanley Bridge. To this day, one of her favourite things to do is introduce people to new beaches on PEI.
Her studies and life took her away from PEI, living across Canada, working as a landscape designer and estimator, construction project coordinator, and business analyst. Eventually, life’s vagaries brought her back home to settle in the beautiful seaside town of North Rustico in 2019, before fulfilling a lifelong dream of living by the ocean in the pastoral south shore community of Chelton. She enjoys surprising neighbours and tourists with her two “Beach Cats,” Huckleberry and Lilypad, as they accompany her on her walks on the shore!
Having a beautiful and comfortable home has been vital to Fran. As a horticulturist and landscape designer, she was always pleased to enhance the living space and curb appeal for many clients by understanding their lifestyles and preferences. She brings these skills and the love of meeting new people, and financial acumen to enhance your experience of finding or selling your home.
