Tomorrow, we’ll be premiering a chat Carol had with her friend Sonya Terborg who is currently living in China with her husband and two children. They will discuss the situation over there as well as Sonya’s experience as a teacher and as a Mom who has been quarantined with a young family. About Sonya: “A New Zealand trained educator, Sonya left her home country in 2001 to begin a career in international education. She has taught Grades 1-10 in Laos, USA, Germany, Thailand, Japan, and is currently living in Nanjing, China. Sonya is married and has two children aged 3 and 6. She has been “sheltering in place” with her family since January 23rd and is coping with this crisis by taking one day at a time, being grateful for this unexpected time with her family, and by doing a whole lot of baking.”
